| THE BOSTON-THRESHOLD GROUP PRESENTS THE 10TH ANNUAL NORTHERN IRELAND GROUP THERAPY CONFERENCE |
09/08/2007 for Thursday 9th - Friday 10th August 2007 |
| Cultra Manor, Ulster Folk & Transport Museum, Cultra, Holywood, Co. Down |
|
| Senior American therapists will join with colleagues from N.Ireland (Threshold and other associates) and England (Institue of Group Analysis)
While working with groups can provide an effective and cost effective medium for intervention in a wide range of settings, it also presents specific challenges for the group leader or leaders. This conference offers an opportunity to explore, from both theoretical and experiential perspectives, the tasks of group leaders and co-leadership teams. Workshops are structured to allow participants to bring material from their own group work experience as well as providing an opportunity to learn from the work of other participants and the workshop leader/s.
Workshops will be of interest to those who facilitate client and/or staff groups in statutory, voluntary and community settings in the fields of health and social care, education and organisational consultancy.
Being the 10th anniversary, we can promise a very special conference this year and would advise to book early to avoid disapointment.
